Our Testimony....

After five years of prayer, our family has answered God’s call to a “Works” ministry.

We have taken our family: Bill, Allison, Adam age 11, and Mia 6 on the road, doing service work. Our goal is to be of help to others as we travel, sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways.

For five years we have sensed the Lord leading us. In the summer of 2008, we took a step of faith and placed our home on the market. We reasoned that if the Lord wanted it sold, it would sell despite the collapse of the real estate market. Our home was under contract within six weeks! The Lord led us to a wonderful fifth wheel in new condition, having been used a total of two weeks!  The layout, storage, and options, could not have been more designed for our needs. The house sold, and we moved into the RV parked at a very special friends home.

Fall came, the weather was getting cold, and we still had not found a truck to pull our travel trailer that was in our price range. After the suggestion of a friend, we began calling RV dealers. A dealer in southern Maine, had a 1996 Freightliner hauler with just 45,000 miles. The truck was in great condition, and had a rear lounge area that would be perfect for the kids. Still, the price was way out of our range. At this point, fear was setting in, but fear is not of God! After a time of prayer, we made an offer that we could afford, and it was excepted!  When we went to pick up the truck, we met with the owner. Bill shared our testimony with him, not knowing where he was spiritually. He told Bill that he had prayed about our offer, and the Lord had told him to sell us the truck, for the amount that was offered! PRAISE GOD! Bill left his job of thirteen years in November 2008.

We sense that we are “on call” making ourselves available to others, trusting God to lead us, and provide for our needs. 2009 has been a time of getting used to the change in lifestyle, and learning to trust God like we never have before. He has proven Himself faithful, providing us with places to park the RV, opportunities to minister, and reconnect with family that we have not seen in years.

You can help us by making us aware of your need, and keeping us in prayer.

Thank you!
